Event recap: Gin night in Ningbo with Chinese brand Crimson Pangolin

Friday 15th of May, Monsieur Baozi and Crimson Pangolin joined forces and organized in Ningbo’s restaurant Marina Kitchen an event that was all about Gin.

Helena Kidacka, co-owner of the Chinese gin brand “Crimson Pangolin”, made the trip to Ningbo and took over the pop-up bar, specially made for the occasion in the chic and contemporary restaurant Marina Kitchen.

Despite some weather complications, 30 gin-enthusiasts participated in this event which was the first event for the brand in the city. The small crowd gathered around a common passion: craft Gin.

In a friendly and casual atmosphere, the program included Gin and Tonics with two kinds of Gins that the brand showcased, as well as a short gin-cocktail menu, and some tapas plates served by Marina Kitchen Restaurant.

About the brand

Crimson Pangolin is a young brand (late 2017), brought by two passionate expats in China, that has successfully established itself on the Shanghai mixologist and F&B scene, with an accessible range of craft Gin, taking full advantage of its Chinese roots.

The brand has 4 different Gin editions: Original, Black Goji, Peach rose and Oak Barrel. Each of them having distinctive notes and aromas that allow numerous cocktails possibilities.
